About The Position

The Millwright supports the Maintenance and Production Teams through mechanical and some electrical troubleshooting in an assigned area of the mill. The role involves interpreting drawings and manuals to install, repair, and maintain complex equipment systems and machinery, including pumps, valves, cylinders, compressors, conveyors, and overhead cranes. The Millwright operates equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and mobile cranes during routine mechanical operations. The position supports the Maintenance Team with a safety-minded approach and works to provide reliable service to customers. The schedule includes shift rotation, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays. Safety is emphasized, including the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

Experience using engineering and maintenance principles.
Three years of previous industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
Experience interpreting drawings and manuals for complex equipment and machinery.
Extensive mechanical and basic electrical knowledge for servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, tools, devices, moving parts, and equipment.
Initiative, teamwork, communication, dependability, attention to detail, problem-solving, and judgment/decision-making skills.
