About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will provide commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations. The role focuses on standard custodial and janitorial tasks, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. Cleaners work as part of a team, follow safety rules and company procedures, respond to supervision, and communicate professionally with coworkers, managers, and customers. The position may also involve filling in during staff shortages and supporting the shift lead with punch-list items.

Requirements

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and edge floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, including using proper personal protective equipment.
• Perform work assignments with other employees and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and rules; take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with the lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and support customer service and satisfaction.
• Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
