About The Position

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Electrician for a project in Liberty, North Carolina. The role involves electrical installation and related construction work in industrial and manufacturing settings. Hired candidates will be considered for benefits and paid time off after three months. Significant travel may be required, and regular attendance is required.

Requirements

Skilled in written and verbal communication.
Able to effectively use all required personal protective equipment.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to safely access property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops, elevated positions, and confined spaces.
Able to meet strenuous physical demands, stand for long periods, bend consistently, and work in confined spaces, on ladders, in personnel lifts, in workboats, and in awkward body positions.
Able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine materials and work requirements.
Prepare work layouts using tools such as voltage testers, wire strippers, levels, and pipe benders.
Terminate panels using LOTO.
Plan installation sequences to avoid obstructions and conflicts with other construction workers.
Run cable tray, pull wire, and bend various types of conduit.
Work with motor controls and metering.
Size branch-circuit overcurrent protection devices.
Calculate loads for single-phase and three-phase branch circuits.
Follow directions, plans, and blueprints and work within specified accuracy standards.
Perform work overhead, beneath structures, and in other positions required by working conditions.
Lift and carry objects of varying weights.
Recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
Attend work regularly and perform other duties as required.
Complete required safety and general job training.
Follow SIC and customer safety and quality processes and procedures.
