Mill Operator - 2nd shift

About The Position

INX International is seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the right candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The role pays a starting wage of $22.00 or more per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials for second and third shifts.

Requirements

Have 3 months of work-related experience.
Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
Have attention to detail.
Be reliable in working the assigned shift.
Be flexible to work overtime as required.
Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Be able to perform an active role on multidisciplinary teams.
Have good attendance and punctuality.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED desired.
Forklift experience; training can be provided.
Background in the mixing, mill, or pump filter industry.

Responsibilities

Run batches of ink using the proper mill settings.
Package or can finished product in various containers and apply labels.
Clean and maintain machinery to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge in daily activities.
Operate Hockmeyer mills to optimum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standards.
Create and maintain a database of existing formulas, including processing times.
Operate the press-out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
Act as a quality-control liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Help with repacks.
