About The Position

INX International is seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the successful candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The role includes producing and packaging ink batches, maintaining equipment, following standard operating procedures, supporting quality control, and completing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Starting wage is $22.00 or more per hour based on experience, with shift differentials for second and third shifts.

Requirements

• Have 3 months of work-related experience.
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
• Have attention to detail.
• Be reliable in working the assigned shift.
• Be flexible to work overtime as required.
• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Be able to perform an active role on multidisciplinary teams.
• Have good attendance and punctuality.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Forklift experience; training can be provided.
• Background in mixing, mill, and pump-filter industries.

Responsibilities

• Run ink batches using the proper mill settings.
• Package finished product in various containers and apply labels.
• Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
• Learn and apply TPM knowledge in daily activities.
• Weigh up batches, including shifting between automatic and manual steps and following the process order of addition.
• Discharge pigment and operate mixers safely in accordance with INX Mixer SOPs.
• Operate and maintain Hockmeyer mills to meet optimum overall equipment effectiveness standards.
• Create and maintain a database of existing formulas, including processing times.
• Perform canning.
• Operate press-out units, pump-filter equipment, and forklifts.
• Act as a quality-control liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with repacks.
