Mill Operator - 2nd shift

About The Position

INX International is seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the successful candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The role includes operating Hockmeyer mills to meet overall equipment effectiveness standards, handling finished ink, supporting quality control, and carrying out maintenance and troubleshooting. The starting wage is $22.00 or more per hour based on experience, with shift differentials for second and third shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED desired.
At least 3 months of work-related experience.
Good math and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability in working the assigned shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Ability to take an active role on multidisciplinary teams.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience; training can be provided.
Background in mixing, mill, and pump-filter industries.

Responsibilities

Run ink batches using the proper mill settings.
Package or can finished product in various containers and apply labels.
Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge in daily activities.
Operate Hockmeyer mills to meet optimum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standards.
Create and maintain a database of existing formulas, including processing times.
Operate the press-out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
Act as a quality-control liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Help with repacks.
