About The Position

The Milieu Manager oversees the daily operation of evidence-based and best-practice programming and provides clinical supervision of program dynamics within the acute therapeutic milieu for patients. The role supports program development and organizational objectives while ensuring that patients’ recovery, stabilization, and community reintegration goals are supported by appropriate services. The Milieu Manager supervises and assists with hiring, training, and evaluating Mental Health Technicians. The role promotes facility values and philosophies in treatment practice and ensures work is conducted in accordance with Ridgeview Institute policies and procedures, applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and licensure and accreditation standards.

Requirements

Five years of full-time experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting or equivalent.
Either a graduate degree from an accredited school of psychology, social work, professional counseling, education, or medicine, with licensure or licensure eligibility in a listed clinical field, or, in lieu of an advanced degree, seven to ten years of work experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting with leadership responsibility.

One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
