About The Position

Mountz Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships through account penetration, sales, and marketing activities. The goal is to maximize profitable growth by building a business plan, collaborating with marketing to increase sales, and creating new business-building opportunities. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong, strategic relationships in the assigned Midwest Territory (ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, KY), focusing on both active accounts and prospecting for new ones. The company, established in 1965 and recently acquired by Snap-on, Inc., specializes in torque solutions for the manufacturing industry and aims to forge a safer world through accuracy and precision.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of ambitious and successful experience in Regional/Territory sales.
  • Experience with technical and mechanical products.
  • Experience using a modern sales CRM like Salesforce, Netsuite, or HubSpot.
  • Experience with Remote selling using tools like Microsoft Office and Zoom.
  • Proven results in account development, developing new business, working with resellers, and project management.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.

Nice To Haves

  • BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Experience working with both End Users and Resellers.
  • DC Tool experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business plans to maximize profitability and strategically drive account sales.
  • Reach out to new and current account contacts to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Utilize prospecting tools like Uplead and Sales Navigator to find new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, productivity, and tooling trends.
  • Make initial contact with key targeted customer personnel and build strong business rapport.
  • Interface with customers to understand their overall objectives and requirements.
  • Contact customers regularly to maintain account relationships, advise on new product and service offerings, and obtain product feedback.
  • Cultivate a network of influential contacts to achieve sales objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and demand generation teams to proactively reach potential customers.
  • Work collaboratively with Applications Support to demonstrate product solutions.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product development teams for future product enhancements.
