About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate to help manage parts inventory at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role involves sourcing and ordering complex automotive parts, managing returns and general inventory, communicating with dealers and suppliers, and reconciling and recording parts payments. The position is based at 8901 Brewerton Rd., Brewerton, NY 13029, and is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Locations may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with a stated range of $18.00–$19.00 per hour based on experience. Carvana describes its work as inspecting, perfecting, and photographing vehicles at its Reconditioning Centers before the vehicles are listed on its website. Applicants must pass a background check. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive parts experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
