About The Position

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate to help manage parts inventory at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role includes sourcing and ordering complex automotive parts, managing returns and general inventory, communicating with dealers and suppliers, and reconciling and recording payments for parts. The position is based at the inspection center in Delanco, New Jersey, and is scheduled for first shift, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Candidates must have at least six months of professional automotive parts experience. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold, using tools and safety equipment, and lifting up to 60 pounds independently. Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive parts experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
