About The Position

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate to help manage parts inventory at a high-tech Inspection Center. The role involves sourcing and ordering complex automotive parts, handling returns and general inventory, communicating with dealers and suppliers, and reconciling and recording payments for parts. Carvana describes itself as a used automotive retailer that operates vehicle Reconditioning Centers where cars are inspected, perfected, and photographed before appearing on its website. The position requires at least six months of professional automotive parts experience. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. The role may involve physically operating vehicle equipment and tools, lifting up to 60 pounds independently, working in a fast-paced production environment, exposure to heat or cold, and using protective equipment. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least six months of professional automotive parts experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
