About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate to help manage parts inventory at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role involves sourcing and ordering complex automotive parts, handling returns and general inventory, communicating with dealers and suppliers, and reconciling and recording payments for parts. The position requires at least six months of professional automotive parts experience. The location offers first and second shifts; the advertised title specifies second shift, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. Locations may require mandatory overtime based on business needs.

The inspection center is located at 3501 Lancaster Hutchins Road, Hutchins, TX 75141. Carvana describes its vehicle reconditioning centers as places where vehicles are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on its website. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional automotive parts experience.
• Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Pass a complete background check.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
