Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate for its inspection center in Yaphank, New York. The associate helps manage automotive parts inventory by sourcing and ordering complex parts, handling returns and general inventory, communicating with dealers and suppliers, and reconciling and recording payments. The role uses tools in a high-tech inspection center and requires at least six months of professional automotive parts experience. The second-shift schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional automotive parts experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
- Be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
- Pass a complete background check.
