About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Parts Associate to help manage parts inventory at its high-tech vehicle Inspection Center in Yaphank, New York. The position involves sourcing and ordering complex automotive parts, managing returns and inventory, communicating with dealers and suppliers, and reconciling and recording parts payments. The role is listed with a second-shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.; mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive parts experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
