About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to prepare and paint vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. The position is on a Monday-through-Thursday second-shift schedule, 4:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with some overtime available. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

The role requires at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, operate vehicle equipment and tools, and follow safety requirements. Work may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
