About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to match and mix paint colors and paint vehicles using water-based paint inside paint booths at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role requires at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. Employees use state-of-the-art tools in a production environment. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Match and mix paint colors.
Use water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths.
Work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and, when business needs require, work mandatory overtime.
