About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to match and mix paint colors and paint vehicles with water-based paint inside paint booths at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role is part of the vehicle reconditioning process, preparing vehicles for customers. Applicants need at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
