About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to work in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The painter matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. The role requires at least three years of professional automotive painting experience and includes working in a fast-paced, changing production environment. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
