About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to work in a vehicle reconditioning center. The painter matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. The role is part of a fast-paced production environment focused on preparing vehicles for customers. The stated schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Passing a complete background check.
