About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to work in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. Carvana describes its vehicle Reconditioning Centers as places where cars are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on its website. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs to help deliver vehicles as expected.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
