About The Position

2020 Companies is hiring part-time seasonal Meta Sales Specialist Floaters to represent Meta products inside local big-box retailers. The role involves demonstrating wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences; engaging shoppers; and creating a positive, personalized brand experience. Specialists also build relationships with retail associates and inform and train store teams about products, features, tools, and promotions. Product and technology training is provided remotely, and no prior technology expertise is required.

The position is temporary and seasonal, running from the posting date through January 3, 2027. It pays $21 per hour plus a seasonal completion bonus, with six hours guaranteed per week and on-call coverage; weekly hours vary. Friday-through-Sunday availability is required, with scheduled hours of Friday 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be added in November and December for key shopping days. Work is at retailers within approximately 60 miles of the market center in Downey, California. A smartphone and reliable personal transportation are required.

The seasonal completion bonus is contingent on attendance requirements, employee standing, and meeting KPIs. Floaters receive priority consideration for open positions in the market based on attendance, KPIs, and other factors. The role offers weekly base pay, optional on-demand cashouts through DailyPay, paid training, potential career pathways, resume-building experience, and sales-contest incentives that may include Meta products, promotional items, and gift cards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and at least three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone required, equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.
• Reliable personal transportation.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Meta wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences through hands-on product presentations.
