About The Position

2020 Companies is hiring seasonal Meta Sales Specialist Floaters to represent Meta products in local big-box retailers within approximately 60 miles of the Houston market center. The role involves demonstrating wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences; engaging shoppers; and helping customers understand product features and benefits. Specialists also build relationships with store teams and share information about products, features, and promotions. Training and product certifications are provided remotely.

The position is temporary and seasonal, running through January 3, 2027. Friday-through-Sunday availability is required, with six guaranteed hours per week and on-call coverage; weekly hours vary. Scheduled hours are Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be added in November and December for key shopping days. Pay is $23 per hour, with a seasonal completion bonus subject to attendance, employee standing, and KPI requirements. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly incentives are also tied to demonstration engagement and sales performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.
• Personal, reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Meta wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences to shoppers.
• Proactively engage shoppers and provide welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
• Explain product features and benefits based on customers’ interests and needs.
• Guide customers from initial engagement and product demonstration through asking for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products demo-ready, and the retail experience consistent with Meta brand standards.
• Build relationships with store teams and keep them informed about current products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
