About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a part-time seasonal Meta Sales Specialist Floater to represent Meta products in local big-box retail stores within approximately 60 miles of the Phoenix market center. The role brings Meta technology to life through product demonstrations, customer engagement, sales support, and training for retail associates. Product and technology training is provided remotely.

The schedule requires Friday-to-Sunday availability, with six guaranteed hours per week and on-call coverage; weekly hours may vary. Typical hours are Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional shifts are added in November and December for key shopping days. The seasonal assignment runs from now through January 3, 2027. Pay is $20 per hour, with a seasonal completion bonus and potential weekly, monthly, and quarterly incentives tied to engagement and sales performance. Bonus eligibility depends on attendance requirements, employee standing, and KPIs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11, Samsung S25, or newer.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.
• Personal, reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences through hands-on product presentations.
• Proactively engage shoppers and provide welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
• Explain product features and benefits in response to customers’ interests and needs.
• Guide customers from initial engagement and demonstration through asking for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products ready for demonstration, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
• Build relationships with store teams and inform them about products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
• Train store teams on new AI apps, tools, and product features.
