About The Position

Fills orders for currency and coins, and counts and records cash deposits in the vault of a commercial bank. The role also performs data entry and maintenance of analyzed accounts and provides, presents, and promotes The Citizens Experience to external and internal customers. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Associates must comply with and stay abreast of applicable policies, procedures, and federal and state laws. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of one year of experience as a service representative in a financial institution.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other associates.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to regularly stand; operate a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, and telephone; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally walk, sit, and climb or balance.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Close vision.

Responsibilities

Count currency, coins, and checks received for deposit in the vault.
Total currency and checks to verify amounts shown on deposit slips or other forms.
Record deposits in customer account records.
Remove specified amounts of currency and coins from the vault and prepare cash bags for shipment to businesses or branch banks.
Record amounts of cash shipped.
Count and record large-denomination bills, mutilated currency, and food stamps for shipment to the Federal Reserve Bank.
Perform data entry and maintenance of analyzed accounts.
Provide, present, and promote The Citizens Experience to external and internal customers.
Comply with and stay abreast of applicable policies, procedures, and federal and state laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
