About The Position
As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate and make merchandise easy for customers to find. You create safe, clean, visually appealing displays that customers can access easily. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping them locate or handle merchandise. The position may involve working inside and outside in varying weather and climate conditions, and occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. The posting states that Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts. The posted pay range is $16.50–$18.50 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience. Applications are accepted on a continuing basis.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
- Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Lowe’s sales floor experience.
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Working knowledge of essential tools, such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
- Bilingual, military, or veteran talent is strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
- Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining the information digitally throughout the store.
- Ensure product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
- Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
- Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback about project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
- Listen to customers and, when appropriate, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
