About The Position
As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You maintain accurate store signage, pricing information, and displays so merchandise is easy to find. You create displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Although most work does not involve customer interaction, you may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping them locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve working inside and outside in varying weather and climate conditions, as well as exposure to noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
- Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or lift more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Lowe's sales floor experience.
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
- Bilingual, military, or veteran candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
- Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
- Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
- Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
- Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
- Assist customers when appropriate by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
