About The Position

As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You maintain accurate signage, pricing information, and displays so merchandise is easy for customers to find. You create displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.

The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores, but does not require regular travel. Work may take place indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying climates, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow safe lifting guidelines: single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, and team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker. Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of essential tools, such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, or veteran talent is strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including its digital maintenance throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedule, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help locate or handle merchandise when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
