About The Position

As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, accessible, safe, clean, and visually appealing. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying climates and may involve noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating powered equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Engage with customers when appropriate, listen to their needs, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
