About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You ensure that store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate and make merchandise easy for customers to locate. You create displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.

The role may involve work inside and outside in varying weather and climate conditions, including extreme heat or cold, dampness, humidity, wind, or drafts. Associates may encounter noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. This role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Lifting methods vary; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, and team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
• Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or lift more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, and veteran talent are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Stage clearance products, sort products into appropriate locations, and ensure displays are positioned appropriately to help drive add-on sales.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• When appropriate, engage with customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help locate or handle merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
