About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to place products, build displays, and work with store personnel in local stores. The role is based in the Fairmont, Minnesota area and is onsite. It offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule for 5 hours per week. Pay depends on experience. New hires in eligible requisitions receive a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment. Paid training, mileage and travel time paid between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities are also offered.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Fairmont, MN 56031.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
