Merchandiser
About The Position
The Merchandiser supports route development by improving merchandising, account penetration, and product availability. The role expands distribution in new and existing accounts through cooler and warm-set resets, displays, placement of point-of-sale materials and display racks, and participation in special events. Reset schedules are provided daily by the Branch Manager, and each reset must include before-and-after pictures. The Merchandiser also reviews competitive activity and may take on other responsibilities or special functions assigned by the immediate supervisor. The work environment is described as portable.
Requirements
- Proven success in merchandising.
- Ability to maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to multitask.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effortlessly to change.
- Solid experience in merchandising.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Expand product distribution in new and existing accounts through cooler resets, warm-set resets, and display building.
- Complete reset schedules provided daily by the Branch Manager.
- Place point-of-sale materials and display racks throughout assigned territories, ensuring pack-outs have accurate and proper pricing.
- Take before-and-after pictures for all resets.
- Assume other responsibilities and perform special functions assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Assist in coordinating and setting up special events in assigned territories.
- Review and identify competitive activity.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
