Merchandiser
About The Position
Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in local stores, placing impulse products, building displays, and collaborating with store personnel. Merchandisers work in more than 18,500 stores and are central to Jacent’s cross-merchandising operations. The role offers daytime hours, a predictable schedule, and 12 to 14 hours per week. The employee must reside within 20 miles of Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Requirements
- Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
- Be comfortable working in changing environments.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
- Reside within 20 miles of Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
- Execute merchandising resets.
- Build retail displays.
- Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
- Implement plan-o-grams.
