About The Position

Johnson Brothers is hiring a Merchandiser to support its beverage distribution operations. The role provides service to customer accounts by stocking, merchandising, and rotating wine and beer products. The Merchandiser receives the daily route by email from the Warehouse Manager and/or Merchandising Manager after orders have been fulfilled, runs routes, and supports major deliveries. The position also assists with store resets in an established territory and maintains awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must be able to work the assigned schedule, which may include weekends.
• Must communicate effectively.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record and an active driver’s license for the state of residence.
• Must be able to safely lift 40–60 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education preferred.
• Previous sales, merchandising, or pull-up experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the wine and beer beverage industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to accounts.
• Stock, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves.
• Run routes and support major deliveries by assisting the delivery driver with unloading, checking in, and stocking orders.
• Build wine and beer displays.
• Assist with store resets in the established territory.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
• Receive the daily route by email from the Warehouse Manager and/or Merchandising Manager after orders have been fulfilled.
