About The Position

The Merchandiser works in retail stores across an assigned territory, traveling between locations to service products according to store and corporate standards. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and based in Franklin, Tennessee. Travel may account for up to 100% of working time, and travel time between accounts is paid. Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to an established schedule.

The role is responsible for merchandising products, replenishing stock safely and efficiently, and potentially assembling shelves, racks, and display cases according to measurement guidelines. The Merchandiser must complete assigned store visits within the hours allotted by the Supervisor of Merchandising, obtain prior approval before working outside scheduled hours, and contact the supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or working overtime. Work hours and other company-related information must be recorded accurately using designated applications.

The position requires reliable transportation, a personal cell phone and mobile device such as a tablet, and the ability to use Movista and/or other required company applications, Word, the internet, and email. Employment is contingent on a background check, a four-panel drug test that does not include THC, and MVR clearance. Compensation is $17, with a retention and/or referral bonus available after three months subject to program eligibility. Eligible part-time employees may participate in the company’s 401(k) plan with an employer match and have access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail environments according to applicable store and corporate standards.
• Replenish products safely and efficiently.
• Assemble shelves, racks, and display cases when needed, following measurement guidelines.
• Service all assigned stores on schedule and within the hours allotted by the Supervisor of Merchandising.
• Obtain supervisor approval before working outside scheduled hours and contact the supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or working overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Consult the supervisor before performing duties requested by store personnel that are not listed in the role description.
• Handle products correctly, including returns, and follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and related instructions.
• Communicate regularly with the supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
