About The Position

Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service the Hallmark department in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role works independently to organize and manage time, build retailer relationships, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and represent Hallmark. Merchandisers may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service. The position includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, including reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys. The role involves working on sales floors and in back stockrooms, and may include installations, fixture assembly, department relocations, and card-section resets. This part-time role has a variable work-week schedule and averages 10–15 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays and seasonal changeovers. The starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.
