About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in the Hallmark departments of assigned retail stores, collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory. You represent Hallmark while building retailer relationships, organizing displays, and supporting team members with seasonal resets and installations. The role averages 8–10 hours per week on a variable weekday schedule and may involve additional days or extended hours around major holidays, seasonal changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, and may include occasional work with other companies’ products in stores.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products and inventory within and outside the Hallmark department at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement in coordination with store teams.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and required activity reporting.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support around holidays, including additional days and extended work hours, and work on certain holidays when required.
• Support installations and department resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
