As a Merchandiser, you work independently to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in the stores you service. You perform service work in Hallmark departments at retail locations such as grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. Your work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory and displays; using a mobile device for work tasks and communications; providing holiday support; assisting with department resets and fixture installations; and supporting other merchandisers in their territories. This part-time position has a variable work-week schedule and averages 6–10 hours per week. The starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Availability before and after major holidays is required, and may include weekends. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around holidays, and some holiday work may be required. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. The job is physically demanding and requires working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. Employees must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required.
