As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, and maintain inventory. You will service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retailer stores, and may occasionally work with products from other companies. The role involves day-to-day merchandising, holiday support, department resets and installations, and supporting other merchandisers as needed. The position averages 9–12 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days and extended hours may be required around major holidays, and work on some holidays or weekends may be required. Season changeovers, extended services, installations, inventory support, remodel assignments, and resets may also involve evenings or weekends. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor products, communicate with a supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience; eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
