The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain Hallmark product displays and inventory, build relationships with store teams, and represent Hallmark professionally. The role involves restocking, organizing, and monitoring products; communicating with a supervisor and completing required merchandising activities using a Hallmark-provided mobile device; and supporting seasonal resets, installations, and other team members when needed. Merchandisers may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service. This part-time position has a variable work-week schedule and averages up to 9 hours per week. The starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around holidays and for seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support. Availability the week before and after major holidays, sometimes including weekends, is required. Some assignments may involve evenings or weekends. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Employees must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds and occasionally handle items up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required.
