About The Position

Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role works independently to organize and manage time, build relationships with retailer teams, and represent Hallmark. Merchandisers collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, and may support other team members with seasonal resets and installations. The position may occasionally involve working with products from other companies in stores served. This role averages 4–8 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees may have access to voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The work includes routine merchandising, additional seasonal support around holidays, and occasional department resets or installations. Holiday periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours; work on certain holidays and weekends may be required. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. The job is physically demanding. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and involves frequently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing. Climbing stairs or step ladders may also be required.
