The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, holiday support, department resets and installations, and helping other merchandisers in their territories as needed. Merchandisers may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores they service. This is a part-time position averaging 4–7 hours per week, with a variable work-week schedule. The role requires availability before and after major holidays, potentially including weekends, and availability for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid, hands-on and virtual training; eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. The job involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of items up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required.
