About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser independently services Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role showcases organizational and time-management skills, builds retailer relationships, and represents Hallmark while collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory. Merchandisers may also support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, and may occasionally work with other companies' products in serviced stores. This part-time role averages 6–12 hours per week on a variable weekday schedule. Work includes routine merchandising, additional seasonal support around major holidays, and occasional department resets and installations. Availability before and after major holidays, potentially including weekends, and for season changeovers and extended services is expected. Some holiday work may be required on the holiday itself. Reset assignments are typically announced two weeks ahead and may involve evenings or weekends. The position involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures. Hallmark provides a mobile device for work activities and paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The stated starting pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Part-time employees are offered voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
