About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and merchandise beverage products in assigned customer locations. The role includes stocking and rotating shelves and coolers, setting up displays, organizing backrooms, moving products to the sales floor, and accurately ordering product for the next delivery. The Merchandiser also supports promotions, creates point-of-sale signage, maintains customer relationships, and services customers according to schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to perform basic financial calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
Ability to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Positive attitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
Customer-oriented and focused.

Responsibilities

Fill and merchandise coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
Sell and execute promotions.
Create and use point-of-sale signage.
Develop good customer relations.
Service all customers as scheduled.
Order product and/or run invoices.
Clean equipment, maintain orderly backroom storage, and rotate stock.
Perform other duties as assigned.
