About The Position

Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail locations. The role works independently to organize and maintain product displays and inventory, build relationships with store teams, and represent Hallmark. Merchandisers may also support fellow team members and work with other products in the stores they service. The work has three main components: day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, while communicating with a supervisor and completing required reporting and surveys. Seasonal periods may require additional workdays and extended hours, and work on certain holidays may be required. Resets may involve installing fixtures, relocating departments or products, and resetting card sections; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. This part-time position has a variable workweek schedule and averages 8–11 hours per week. Availability is needed around major holidays and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Starting pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. The job is physically demanding and involves working on sales floors and in back stockrooms. Employees must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required.
