As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to represent Hallmark, maintain and organize product displays, monitor inventory, and build relationships with store teams. You may also support other team members and, on occasion, work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The position averages 9–11 hours per week and has a variable schedule during the work week. Workload and hours may increase around holidays and seasonal changeovers, including extended services, installations, inventory support, and department resets. Availability the week before and after major holidays is required and may include weekends; work on certain holidays may also be required. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures. Applicants must meet the listed age, language, physical-capacity, digital-device, internet-access, and transportation qualifications. Hallmark requires applicants to be authorized to work in the United States and generally does not provide employment sponsorship. Employment is contingent on signing the required agreements, completing Form I-9, and passing a post-offer background check.
