About The Position

Borden Dairy is seeking a client-focused, results-driven Merchandiser to service the Akron/Canton area. The role covers merchandising activities such as stocking, rotating products, and providing customer service to support customer satisfaction and product visibility. The position requires extensive driving to service the customer base and work on weekends and varying shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• At least 3 years of related field merchandising experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Ability to prioritize, self-motivate, and manage time effectively.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to work weekends and varying shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Call on assigned accounts to communicate sales promotions and merchandising information to customers.
• Execute planograms by stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating products; rearrange shelving; move products; pull shelving out of refrigerated doors; clean shelves; and restock products.
• Ensure product displays are professional and appealing, with appropriate merchandise, signage, and shelf placement.
• Reset displays and report product or display problems and opportunities.
• Negotiate for additional shelf and promotional space.
• Conduct store surveys and market analyses to understand and test customer responses to products and markets.
• Survey stores and analyze markets to document display conditions upon arrival and identify opportunities to maximize sales.
• Support team and organizational goals through additional duties as required.
