About The Position

Great Lakes Petroleum is seeking a Boom Truck Operator to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for completing assigned duties efficiently and operating their vehicle in accordance with company policy. Great Lakes Petroleum has provided fuel delivery and fuel management services since 1976 and emphasizes customer service, reliable operations, innovative solutions, and safety.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks in compliance with company and governmental regulations.
• Safely operate trucks according to company policies and state and federal laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and facilities.
• Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in compliance with established company protocols.
