About The Position

Great Lakes Petroleum is hiring a Boom Truck Operator to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers. The operator is responsible for completing assigned duties efficiently and operating the vehicle in accordance with company policies. The position includes loading and unloading tanks, safe truck operation, vehicle and equipment inspections and upkeep, and completing required paperwork. Weekend work may be necessary.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
• Required Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens under FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks in accordance with company and governmental regulations.
• Operate trucks safely according to company policies and state and federal laws.
• Keep vehicles clean and conduct safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and/or facilities.
• Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in accordance with established company protocols.
