About The Position

Great Lakes Petroleum is hiring a Boom Truck Operator to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for completing assigned duties efficiently and operating the vehicle in accordance with company policies. The role includes loading and unloading tanks, safe vehicle operation, vehicle and equipment inspections and upkeep, and completing required paperwork. Weekend work may be necessary.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Submit to quarterly random drug screens as required by FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks in compliance with company and governmental regulations.
• Safely operate trucks according to company policies and state and federal laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and/or facilities.
• Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in compliance with established company protocols.
