About The Position

As a Merchandiser Floater, you work independently in the Hallmark departments of various retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays and build relationships with store teams. The role also involves supporting holiday demand, seasonal changeovers, installations, inventory work, and fellow merchandisers in their territories. Occasionally, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. This is a part-time role with a variable weekday schedule averaging 2–20 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays, and availability the week before and after major holidays is required; this may include weekends and, on some occasions, the holiday itself. Resets and remodel assignments may involve evenings or weekends, with typical notice of two weeks for remodel assignments. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding.
